This is how I used to carry around my diapers in my bag. Yes a plastic bag. It was easy, convenient and UGLY!
On the advise of my dear snicker doodle, Kathleen she wanted to know if the next time I do a project I can do a tutorial. So here is my swing at my new diaper holder tutorial.
You will need:
- Fabric - interior and exterior
- Velcro
- Matching thread
- Sewing machine

Cut interior and exterior 5" x 8" (A), 10" x8" (B) and 16" x 8" (C). On the 16" x 8" you can cut the corners at 45 degree angles 2" long. Totally not necessary. Just looks cute.

Sew the exterior of A to the front of interior A. Then flip it open and iron for a nice crease.

Attach A to the exterior of B. Sew along the sides and down the middle. Once again totally not necessary. This is only if you want two pockets. If you want one just sew the sides. If you don't even want pockets, skip this whole section.

Put exterior front of B facing the exterior front of C and sew along the sides. Do the same with the interior. If you want to have depth to your project you will need to mark a 45 degree 1.5" deep on each bottom corner. Then sew along those lines. Cut off the triangles you just sewed. (see markings on the photo above). Again not necessary.
Lastly, turn exterior right side out and slip it into interior inside out. Sew all around leaving a 3" gap. Once you are done, flip the project inside out through the 3" gap. and sew it closed.
You can add velcro if you would like. I would first put whatever you are putting in the holder and see where I would like the velcro to be. Then sew the velcro in place.

Done. A new non-plastic bag is made. With these measurements you can hold wipes and three diapers. You can put whatever you want in the pockets.
