Bib

I can't believe Max is getting older, pretty soon he'll be sucking back real food. This means I'll need new bibs. I went to Target and saw you can buy a set of 2 for $12. I looked at it and thought, I can try and make this especially since I bought all those baby books on how to make bibs. So I went to Joann's and bought "oil canvas". Which I'm not sure if that is oil cloth or not, but whatever. So for half a yard it cost $6.50. With all that you can make 6 bibs! The only thing is I despise an unfinished back. If you buy the bibs at a store the back of the bib is non-reversible. Mine are reversible. I made a couple variations, double sided with oil canvas, towel material and bias tape.

For the simple version of this bib get Lotta Jansdotter, "Simple Sewing for Baby." You will not be disappointed. All you'll need to make her bib is the fabric and thread.

Don't mind the crazy behind Max. She wanted to be in the picture. =)
