Bib
I can't believe Max is getting older, pretty soon he'll be sucking back real food. This means I'll need new bibs. I went to Target and saw you can buy a set of 2 for $12. I looked at it and thought, I can try and make this especially since I bought all those baby books on how to make bibs. So I went to Joann's and bought "oil canvas". Which I'm not sure if that is oil cloth or not, but whatever. So for half a yard it cost $6.50. With all that you can make 6 bibs! The only thing is I despise an unfinished back. If you buy the bibs at a store the back of the bib is non-reversible. Mine are reversible. I made a couple variations, double sided with oil canvas, towel material and bias tape.

Red Egg Re-invented

Red Egg and Ginger parties aren't so traditional these days. So I went with a completely non-traditional invite. A friend took this gorgeous picture of Max (thank you Cathy!) Check out her blog http://ckamphotography.blogspot.com/2007/11/who-is-ckam-photography.html.
Kathleen, my BFF, told me a while back that she took a class in Photoshop or as my husband calls it "PS". So I asked her if she could possibly come up with an invitation for me. She did and it turned out AMAZING! I love it! We are already planning the thank you cards! I told her the size I wanted because at Costco photo's you can make your own invite in matte for less then .25 cents a card!
The tiger on the invite was from http://lazeros.deviantart.com/. Check out the amazing art!
I can't wait to show you hot the thank you card turns out. Stay tuned! =)

Picture this

I've always wondered how the hell people posted multiple pictures within one picture!!??? This weekend we actually got both kids to sleep before 9pm, which leaves Dennis and I with some alone time. How do we spend it? On our laptops catching up on leisurely activities. He just showed me a quick and easy way to do what I've always wondered about. He said the best way is with Photoshop, which I don't have. So for all you Mac users this is how you do it.
